Sweetheart Sips began as a dream to bring our families together. Cody's family is from Colorado and Carly's family is from Texas and we both value family more than anything. We all share a dream of owning some kind of bakery, coffee, or bookshop and we want to get that started with a beverage trailer. We believe life is better when you're with the people you love, which is why we want to connect with the community and be a part of the events that make life special. Sweetheart Sips is about joy: the joy we’ve found in building something meaningful together, the joy that we are bringing our families together, and the joy we hope to share with every guest we serve.

About Us

Carly and Cody met after transferring to Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where they built a strong foundation both academically and personally. Cody earned a degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Economics, while Carly earned a degree in English. After developing a close friendship, their relationship grew, leading to their engagement in December 2025. They are planning to get married in April 2027.

Following graduation, Cody gained experience in the corporate sector before transitioning back to the service industry. Through several years working in restaurants, he developed a strong appreciation for customer service and creating positive, memorable experiences centered around quality food and beverages.



Carly initially pursued a career in education and gained hands-on experience in childcare before deciding to explore new opportunities. She brings a creative perspective to the business, with a strong interest in interior design and culinary presentation. Her attention to detail contributes to both the visual appeal of the trailer and the quality and creativity of the beverage offerings.
